In addition to top-flight elementary and middle schools, Bastrop ISD’s Colorado River Collegiate Academy is ranked as one of America’s best high schools, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 national rankings. The publication ranked approximately 17,840 public high schools nationwide, ranking CRCA in the top 10%. This ranking is based on those students who demonstrated outstanding outcomes above expectations in math, reading, and science earned qualifying scores in an array of college-level exams and graduated in high proportions.
